《进化应用》是一本经过同行评审的开放存取期刊。它发表论文，利用进化生物学的概念来解决健康、社会和经济相关的生物学问题。论文将采用进化的概念或方法，为以下领域做出贡献(但不限于):医学、农业、林业、开发和管理(渔业和野生动物)、水产养殖、保护生物学、环境科学(包括气候变化和入侵生物学)、微生物学和毒理学。所有的分类群都由微生物、真菌、植物和动物组成。为了更好的服务社会,我们现在也强烈建议提交的论文利用现代分子和遗传方法(人口和功能基因组学,转录组、蛋白质组学、表观遗传学、数量遗传学、协会和链接映射)解决重要的问题在这些学科和应用进化框架。欢迎发表理论性、经验性、综合性或前瞻性的论文。

Evolutionary Applications is a fully peer reviewed open access journal. It publishes papers that utilize concepts from evolutionary biology to address biological questions of health, social and economic relevance. Papers are expected to employ evolutionary concepts or methods to make contributions to areas such as (but not limited to): medicine, agriculture, forestry, exploitation and management (fisheries and wildlife), aquaculture, conservation biology, environmental sciences (including climate change and invasion biology), microbiology, and toxicology. All taxonomic groups are covered from microbes, fungi, plants and animals. In order to better serve the community, we also now strongly encourage submissions of papers making use of modern molecular and genetic methods (population and functional genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, epigenetics, quantitative genetics, association and linkage mapping) to address important questions in any of these disciplines and in an applied evolutionary framework. Theoretical, empirical, synthesis or perspective papers are welcome.
