期刊简介：Articles published in The Indian Journal of Animal Sciences encompass a broad range of research topics in animal health and production related to cattle, buffalo, sheep, goat, camel, equines, pig, rabbit, yak, mithun, poultry and fisheries. Studies involving wildlife species and laboratory animal species that address fundamental questions about their biology will also be considered for publication. All manuscripts must present some new development and must be original, timely, significant and scientifically excellent. Papers will be rejected if standards of care of, or procedures performed on animals are not up to those expected of humane veterinary scientists. At a minimum, standards must meet the International Guiding Principles for Biomedical Research involving Animals, as issued by the Council for International Organizations of Medical Sciences. (C.I.O.M.S., c/o WHO, CH 1211 Geneva 27, Switzerland). Articles reporting new animal disease must follow GOI directive as given in detail in Guidelines to Authors.

期刊简介：The Indian Journal of Experimental Biology (IJEB), started in 1963, is a broad-based open access monthly peer-reviewed periodical publishing original research of experimental nature that contributes significantly to knowledge in cell biology, molecular biology, biotechnology, endocrinology, reproductive biology, immunology, developmental biology, comparative physiology, radiation biology, chronobiology, microbiology, pharmacology, toxicology and other biological fields including instrumentation and methodology. The papers having experimental design involving alteration and/or manipulation in biological system(s) providing insight into their functioning are considered for publication.Review articles on a current topic in the above fields are also considered. They must dwell more on research work done during the last couple of years in the field and authors should integrate their own work with that of others with acumen and authenticity, mere compilation of references by a third party is discouraged. While IJEB strongly promotes innovative novel research works for publication as full length papers, it also considers research data emanating from limited objectives, and extension of ongoing experimental works as ‘Notes’. IJEB follows “Double Blind Review process” where author names, affiliations and other correspondence details are removed to ensure fare evaluation. At the same time, reviewer names are not disclosed to authors.In the prestigious JCR score (1.475), IJEB ranks 12th out of 104 journals across the disciplines from India. In Scimago Journal Ranking, under the subject categories Biotechnology, Cell Biology and Molecular Biology, IJEB ranks First in India, and ranks 1st, 3rd and 5th, respectively in the Asiatic Region. Articles can be submitted electronically from www.journalonweb.com/ortho. There is no submission and publication fee in Indian Journal of Orthopaedics (IJO). It’s free of cost. This process is simple and self-explanatory two stage process.The decision on manuscripts is taken purely on the quality and relevance of the work. It had completed 50 glorious years in the year 2007. Late Dr Vanmali Saran Maglik of King George Medical College, Lucknow is the founder editor who started the journal in the year 1958. Initially the journal was called Indian Journal of Pathology and Bacteriology and the present name is in existence from the year 1965. The journal grew over the years under the able guidance of stalwarts like Late Dr HI Jhala, Late Dr V Ramalingaswamy, Dr HD Tandon, Late Dr BK Aikat and Late Dr S Nagalotimath. The present form is due to the untiring efforts of Dr KS Ratnakar, Dr VH Talib, Dr SK Shahi and Dr Harsh Mohan. The journal is widely read and is in almost all the libraries of the country and in many institutions outside the country. From the year 2008, the article submission, review, correspondence and publication process has been made online (www.journalonweb.com/ijpm). Now the journal has its own website (www.ijpmonline.org). With these changes the visibility and popularity of the journal has tremendously increased.
